Goku, Cell, Vegeta and all the other heroes and villains from the
legendary anime series Dragon Ball Z come together in a new and improved
version of the Budokai Tenkaichi beat ‘em up. With the combined power of
the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk, you’ll finally be able to mimic the
moves made famous by the series!
Developer Spike has done an amazing job of cramming the game with Dragon
Ball goodness for the fans. No less than 70 characters are present (in
more than 120 playable forms), with a Story Mode that parallels the most
awesome confrontations from Dragon Ball Z to Dragon Ball GT.
Fights take place in 15 enormous and nicely destructible environments,
and thanks to the gorgeous cel-shaded graphics (with authentic voice
acting in cut scenes before and after fights) it looks exactly like an
interactive version of your favourite anime. What’s more, thanks to the
control setup it will feel like you just jumped into the Cell Games
yourself…
Basic moves are performed with combinations of the A and B buttons, but
if it ended there you would never feel like a Super Saiyan, would you?
That’s where the Nunchuk and the Wii Remote come into play, letting you
execute dashes and devastating super moves. You know what Goku looks
like when charging up a Kamehameha? That’s exactly what you’ll be doing!
Similarly, raise both your hands skywards then move them down for a
Spirit Bomb. It’s a great mechanic for immersing yourself into the
Dragon Ball universe, making Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 the beat ‘em up no fan can afford to miss.
