Conduit 2 for Wii follows on from the hit original by throwing you into a science fiction world where you’ll assume the role of a heavily-armed soldier tasked with rooting out evil enemies, discovering their weaknesses and ultimately taking them down.

In order to do so you’ll have to get to grips with advanced technology and an incredible arsenal of over 25 weapons - all controlled with pinpoint precision thanks to the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. From sniper rifles, deployable turrets and alien firearms to multiple grenade types, you’ll be armed to the teeth as you explore beautifully imagined environments from a first-person perspective. Add in the fact you can unlock new weapons and gear and fully customise your soldier’s look and equipment, and you’ll soon find yourself deeply immersed in the world you seek to save. As you carry out your mission, you’ll traverse vast, multi-tiered landscapes all over the globe, each one fraught with danger and ample opportunity to let rip at your oppressors.

On top of the absorbing single player campaign in Conduit 2, the game also boasts extensive multiplayer game modes.

In Team Invasion Mode, two to four players can stand shoulder to shoulder on the same screen and fend off waves of invaders on a variety of maps, playing either alongside friends at home or with comrades they’ve joined online over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Online play in Conduit 2 also accommodates up to 12 players in certain modes, and you’ll discover expansive battlefields on which to enjoy intense first-person action as you work with or against your fellow players.
