Become the caped crusader and dish out your own special brand of justice in an action-packed Wii game that’s bound to bring out your heroic side. Based on the hit animation series, Batman: The Brave and the Bold - The Videogame will take you from the streets of Gotham to abandoned cities, island laboratories and even alien planets as you face-off against some of fiction’s craftiest villains. 

Capturing the flavour of the cartoon series that inspired it, the game boasts beautiful animation and artwork designed to draw you deep into Batman’s comic book world. As you explore rich and varied 2D environments you’ll encounter puzzles put in place to trip you up, not to mention a steady stream of bad guys and bosses in need of some attitude adjustment. Expect to find yourself going up against the likes of Catwoman, Gorilla Grodd and Gentleman Ghost as you work to restore law and order.

With so many criminal types to tackle, it’s good to know the dark knight isn’t the only hero in town. As well as playing as Batman, you’ll be free to take control of a whole posse of powerful allies. Master the moves of Robin, Green Lantern, Hawkman and Blue Beetle and pick your perfect hero pairing when the time comes to tackle the adventure with a second player in co-op mode. There’s also help along the way from drop-in heroes like The Flash and Aquaman, and players with a copy of both the Wii and Nintendo DS versions of the game can unlock Bat-Mite as a playable character by wirelessly connecting the two consoles. With the freedom to control Bat-Mite via your DS as one or two others enjoy the adventure on Wii, will you use the unlockable character to help or hinder your fellow players?

In an adventure that will lead you from Gotham’s back alleys to an entirely different world, you’re going to need a stack of gadgets to get you through. Thankfully, Batman’s packed his trademark Batarangs, Jet Booster and belt sword – and that’s just for starters. As you go you’ll unlock and upgrade your arsenal, ensuring there’s no danger too grave or order too tall for our hero to tackle.
