Link is as brave as they come, but even he can't do everything alone. He helps Princess Zelda escape the confines of Hyrule Castle at the beginning of their adventure, but it's when Zelda is only around in spirit form that the fun really starts!

 

 

 

 

 

 


Link's old foes, the Phantoms, are back in force, but this time Link has a secret weapon - Zelda's spirit! If Link collects three Tears of Light in certain dungeons, he can attack Phantoms from behind and stun them. This gives Zelda's spirit just enough time to enter the Phantom and take control of the clanking combatant. 

 

 

 

 


 

Now Link and Zelda can use the power of the Phantom for their own purposes! Players can tap the Phantom to take command of him, then draw a line on the Touch Screen to direct him where to go. The stout Phantom can walk through fire or lava, or be used as a platform to carry Link above dangers. Link and the Phantom can be directed separately and Link can even use a "Call" request if they wander too far away from each other to bring the Phantom trotting to heel. They say two heads are better than one and that's definitely true in these dungeons - teamwork is crucial if you want to progress.
