When a professor crash-lands his spaceship on Earth after an attack by
another ship, he accidentally abducts a young boy called Terry. Forced
to flee from the enemy, the two embark on an adventure to rebuild the
ship - and get Terry home in time for supper. But they're going to need
your help...
The professor, whose retro quarters can be seen on the top screen, will
get in contact with you to help out Terry on the bottom screen. You are
the link between the two, and so it will be up to you to steer Terry in
the right direction, and kit him out with the helpful gadgets provided
by the prof.
Making unique use of the double screens of Nintendo DS by providing two
simultaneously existing game spaces, Contact is an action rpg that
strays far from convention to take you on a quirky but engrossing
adventure across deserts, into a military fortress, through an otaku
paradise and into a foreboding castle. As you command Terry to explore
the islands looking for the power cells necessary to repair the ship,
his skills, abilities and even his personality will change. For better
or for worse - that's up to you...
