Chrono Trigger
Chrono Trigger

Get ready to experience a true classic. Join Crono and his band of friends as he battles through history on the most far-reaching mission of all time. Literally. You’ll journey from the dawn of the ages to the end of the world in the legendary Chrono Trigger, which has been remade exclusively for Nintendo DS, providing the superlative RPG experience.

Originally released in 1995 on the SNES, Chrono Trigger was lauded as one of the classics of the genre and has been held up as an example of great game-making ever since. The action centres around Crono – an everyday kind of guy who gets swept up in the most dramatic quest in history. He will cross the boundaries of both space and time as he races to avert disaster for all humankind.

It’s all thanks to the inventiveness of his childhood friend Lucca – a young lady with a penchant for time machines. A mistake at a trade fair sends their friend Marle back in history and kick starts a chain of events as a result of this rupture in the time continuum. Crono will find plenty of other friends on his travels and needs help from all of them if he’s to restore the natural order of things.

Chrono Trigger uses the Active Time Battle system, enhanced with a range of strategic skills, which makes for the smoothest RPG fighting experience you’ll encounter. The Nintendo DS remake brings fresh new features to the journey – a new dungeon has been added and you can now play with friends using DS Wireless Play! The dual screen display and Touch Screen add a new twist to the visuals and gameplay, although you can opt to play in ‘classic’ mode if you prefer the original control system.

So - can Crono prove himself to be the ultimate timelord? It's up to you!
