I'm not a member of Club Nintendo – how can I sign up?

In order to become a Club Nintendo member, you need to register at least one registerable Nintendo system or boxed game on the Club Nintendo website. You can find a red product registration card inside the packaging of all current Nintendo systems (excluding Wii U) and many Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, Wii and Nintendo DS games – enter the printed code on the Product Registration section of the Club Nintendo and then follow the on-screen instructions.

Please note that download versions of games downloaded from Nintendo eShop cannot be registered if the Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS XL system used to download them is not first linked to a Club Nintendo account; as such, they cannot be used to become a Club Nintendo member. Also, some older boxed titles may no longer be registrable, as product registration codes can expire.

How do I connect my Nintendo 3DS system to my Club Nintendo account?

You can find details of how to link your Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS XL system to your Club Nintendo account on our Nintendo 3DS Support page.

It is important that you allow 24 hours after linking your Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS XL system to your Club Nintendo account before downloading any titles from Nintendo eShop, to ensure that they are successfully registered to your account.

How do I register a download version of an eligible game with Club Nintendo?

Providing the Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS XL system that you download them to is connected to your Club Nintendo account, any download versions of games downloaded from Nintendo eShop will be added to the My Registered Games and Systems section of your Club Nintendo account page. You can then visit this page and click the 'Claim Stars for this download' link to complete the registration survey as normal.

The registration survey must be completed by 22:59 (UK time) on 30th June 2013 for any eligible download version to count toward this promotion. Please also note that download versions of games downloaded from Nintendo eShop cannot be registered if the Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS XL system used to download them is not first linked to a Club Nintendo account. Does the Nintendo 3DS XL Monster Hunter Limited Edition Pack count towards the promotion?

The Nintendo 3DS XL Monster Hunter Limited Edition Pack comes with two Club Nintendo registration codes: one for the hardware and one for the software. Registering the pre-installed software via the included registration code will enable you to receive a Recommendation Code.

Is Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (Wii U version) eligible for this promotion?

This promotion is for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (Nintendo 3DS version) only.

I already bought and registered Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate before the promotion began – can I still claim?

Game registrations are retroactive; any retail or download version of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (Nintendo 3DS version) registered with Club Nintendo before the promotion commenced is eligible.

I have registered Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (Nintendo 3DS version) but I haven't received my Recommendation Code yet… what should I do?

Claimants must be aged 16 or over to enter this promotion; games registered to Club Nintendo accounts held by members aged 15 and under will not count towards the promotion.

If it is less than seven days since you claimed your Recommendation Code, please be patient – while we aim to send you a code as soon as possible after registration, there may be an unexpected delay in the email process.

If it is more than seven days since you registered for your Recommendation Code and you haven't received it, please do the following:

• Log into Club Nintendo website and check the banners at the top of the page – the Recommendation Code allocated to your account through this promotion will be shown here.
• Check the Spam/Junk folder of your email account, as your Club Nintendo email may have been directed here depending on how your email account is set up.
• Check that the email address linked to your Club Nintendo account is correct in the My Personal Data section of the Club Nintendo website. If it isn't, then the email address provided during the registration process may also be wrong – please enter the correct email address and then contact the Nintendo Support Centre.
• If – having registered Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, conformed to the Terms & Conditions of this promotion and followed the above steps – you still don't have your Recommendation Code, please contact the Nintendo Support Centre.

I received a Recommendation Code, however I am told I am not eligible or cannot redeem it.

It is not possible to use a Recommendation Code you received yourself by registering Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (Nintendo 3DS version). This promotion is intended for two people who know each other.

When can I redeem my Download Code?

As soon as you receive it. Codes will be sent out as soon as possible following your claim.

Which Nintendo 3DS system do I have to redeem my code through?

You can use your free code to download your chosen game onto any Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS system with access to Nintendo eShop via an Internet connection (acceptance of the Nintendo 3DS Service User Agreement and Privacy Policy required). You cannot, however, download the same game onto multiple Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS XL systems.

Is there an expiry date on the Recommendation Code?

Yes – you must redeem your Recommendation Code by 22:59 (UK time) on 5th August, 2013.

Is there an expiry date on my free Download Code?

Yes – you must redeem your free code by 22:59 (UK time) on 31st December, 2013.
