Upon his arrival, Sonic is tasked with a dangerous mission by the granddaughter of legendary wizard, Merlin. It seems that Sonic alone possesses the power to wield the ancient sword Caliburn and end the reign of the tyrannous Black Knight. With the Wii Remote in hand, you hold the power to swing Sonic’s sword by making gestures – immersing you further into the action as you battle fearsome knights, strange creatures and powerful bosses. As you progress you’ll gain access to special attacks and powers that make you a more lethal force to contend with.
The frantic action takes place across thirteen visually stunning environments, in which you’ll scale castle walls, race through forests and propel Sonic over moats by jumping onto giant crossbows.
Away from the main adventure, you can put your swordplay skills to the test against up to three friends in multiplayer battles. Playing as familiar characters from the Sonic universe, you’ll have to contend with challenging computer-controlled enemies as well as your human opponents.
