“It’s me, Wario!”

Join Wario and a colourful cast of series favourites in WarioWare Gold, only for Nintendo 3DS family systems. Wheelin’ ‘n’ dealin’ in denim, Wario’s back and better than ever in 300 microgames, where touching, twisting, and mashing your way to victory is the key to microgame mastery!

Going for gold

“I'm going to be filthy rich!"

CI_3DS_WarioWareGold_01.jpg

When Wario realises he’s out of money, he sets out to make some cash – and fast. After asking some old “friends” to make some games for him, Wario plans on hosting the greatest video game tournament of all time to scheme his way to deep pockets! With a 10 thousand coin fee per entrant, he’s sure to achieve his goal of getting rich quick – though he’s offered a whopping 10 million coins as the winning prize! Will it be you who walks away with it all, or will the zigzag-‘stached man himself scheme his way out of the promised jackpot in the heist of the century?

Wario’s problems don’t end here though – he’s also stolen a rather heavy piece of golden treasure, and someone’s after him to get it back!

Mash, twist, touch, and blow!

“You chumps ready to mash some stuff? You'd better be!”

WarioWare Gold boasts 300 gut-busting microgames – from all-time fan favourites to brand new ones – the highest in the series to date! Blow a balloon until it pops, mash a button to close a door on an unwanted guest, twist your system to perform sit-ups, and use the Touch Screen to…pull out nose hairs?! Don’t be surprised if you find yourself in some bizarre scenarios – Wario’s crew has made sure their microgames make use of your Nintendo 3DS family system in the wildest of ways!

More microgame madness

“Of course! Games! Talk about easy money.”

What are microgames, you ask? These are extremely short challenges that require fast thinking and lightning-quick reflexes – and a buff physique like Wario’s, depending on who you ask. In true WarioWare fashion, microgames appear almost immediately after one another, and you’ve got to get through them all without failing a certain number of times. You’re given just enough clues to know what to do, but the rest is up to you – it’s all about trusting your instincts!

An all-star cast

“Hey there, Jimmy? I need you to make some games for me.”

In Story mode, you’ll have to shoulder-barge your way through Mash, Twist, and Touch Leagues, each one filled with microgames created by returning characters from the WarioWare world. What’s more, each character has their own problem-filled backstory, so there’s more motivation than ever to help them out – if Wario being a jerk isn’t enough, that is! Help Mona prepare for her party, Dr. Crygor run from a mop-wielding robot, and even 9-Volt overcome his fear of maths class!

Wild, wacky and…weird!

“Master all three leagues, and you’ll face the real master! Me, Wario!”

With 300 remastered and all-new microgames to sink your chops into, Wario-sized mouthfuls of ludicrous fun await! Microgames are split into button, motion, touch, and blow categories, giving you an idea of what’s to come before tackling the nose-picking, cheek-pulling, fish-stealing, and dandelion-blowing challenges that lie ahead. There’s also a big – and downright ugly – challenge waiting for you after these leagues have been toppled…

Something for everyone

Whether you’re a veteran or entirely new to the series, WarioWare Gold has something that’ll tickle the fancy of all kinds of player! If you’ve experienced WarioWare titles such as WarioWare, Inc.: Minigame Mania, WarioWare: Twisted!, WarioWare: Touched!, and WarioWare: Smooth Moves, your nostalgic chords may be struck as microgames from these entries return!

Of course, there are also brand new microgames, keeping players of all experiences on their tippy-toes. There’s never been a greater selection of microgames all in one place!

Micro goes mega

Did a particular microgame give you a warm and fuzzy feeling inside? Perhaps you encountered one you just couldn’t beat? Or maybe you thought you could’ve done way better? Not a problem! The Index mode allows you to replay any microgame you’ve come across, letting you to play under greater levels of difficulty or simply aim to achieve a new high score. Try hitting each microgame’s target score to earn more coins, which can be used to unlock a chockful of content!

Head this way for even more fun

Fun at the arcades

Those coins aren’t just for hoarding! In the Arcade, there are tons of goodies to win and unlock, both from playing the game’s Story mode and by spinning the Capsule Machine. These range from larger games called minigames, to fun souvenir collectibles such as character cards, music records, movies and more!

You can even record your own voice clips for selected cutscenes in the game’s Studio, allowing Wario impressionists around the world to reimagine his in-game dialogue – among other characters of course!

All of your unlockables can be marvelled at in the Toy Room, so head here to show off your treasures and accomplishments to your friends, and show ‘em who’s really gonna win!

The waft of success

“That's how you wanna play this?”

Want MORE coins? Who doesn’t?! Missions add a new level of depth to each league and their microgames by setting pre-defined challenges within them, such as clearing a microgame in a particular way. There are more than 150 of them, so try to unlock and complete as many as you can for some rather handsome rewards!

Test your might

“Bet you think you’re some kind of big shot, eh?”

It’s time to put all your acquired skills, reflexes and knowledge to the test! Clearing the game’s Story mode unlocks the almighty Challenge mode, giving you access to a total of nine additional game types. Take on microgames while Wario interrupts you in a most unflattering way go head-to-head with friends, try to finish as many microgames as possible with a limited amount of time or tries, and more!

CI_3DS_WarioWareGold_EN_Wario_Amiibo_Sketch2.jpg

amiibo

Got any amiibo figures? If so, Wario’s amiibo Sketch is the place for them! If you tap an amiibo (sold separately), Wario will swiftly scribble up a sketch of that character allowing the piece of “art” to be bought by a merchant – netting you some extra coins! Who knows – depending on the amiibo tapped, you may even get more coins than you expected! Don’t get greedy though – you can only tap up to three amiibo per day. Sketching is hungry work…and Wario eats often.
