Race against time and save a doomed land in The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, only on Nintendo 3DS family systems. In this full remaster of the fan favourite Nintendo 64 title, which includes refreshed visuals and features while remaining true to the original title, embark on an engrossing, spooky quest through a mysterious world.
Join Link as he seeks to save the land of Termina from a crushing fate – in three days, the moon will crash down and destroy everything and everyone in its path. By using the magical Ocarina of Time, Link must travel through time, re-living the same three days over and over again, to prevent calamity and save the world. Explore every corner of Termina and delve into dangerous dungeons, across treacherous mountains, poisonous swamps, an eerie desert and a vast ocean, on your mission to stop Skull Kid!
As you move back and forth through time, learn the routines of the people you meet, gather information and help out as many folk as you can. Reunite engaged couples, find new places of business for ambitious Dekus, recover stolen items and more – turn up in the right place at the right time and you might even get something good for your efforts. But your time is limited, and you’ll only be able to help so many people before the third day draws to a close and time must be rewound once again…
On your travels, you can collect various masks: some are just for show, but others give you special abilities that you wouldn’t usually have! Use masks to speak to animals, move as quick as a rabbit, or even transform into entirely different species! Change into a Deku Scrub, a Goron and a Zora, using their abilities to fly through the air, roll across the land or swim through the sea!
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D takes full advantage of Nintendo 3DS. The visuals have been overhauled and improved, and you can look around the world using either the Nintendo 3DS system’s motion controls, the Nintendo 3DS Circle Pad Pro (sold separately) on Nintendo 3DS or the C Stick on New Nintendo 3DS. Use the Touch Screen to switch between items more easily than ever, check schedules and see where the action is on your map. The Bombers’ Notebook, used to keep track of activities, has also been upgraded with alarm functions so you don’t forget about any special events, and if you’re in a bind you can crawl into a Sheikah Stone to get a hint. If the action’s getting too much, take a break at a fishing hole and see what you can snag!
You’ll need to make the most of every minute and use every skill at your disposal to help out the people of Termina, get Majora’s Mask back and seek out the powers necessary to stop Skull Kid, only on Nintendo 3DS family systems. The time has come… can you save the world in just three days?
While this game can be played on all Nintendo 3DS family systems, including Nintendo 2DS, the built-in C Stick of the New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL systems can be used to control the camera and look around the world of Termina freely.
Please note: you can only appreciate the 3D effect of Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL, New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL on the system itself. Game visuals display in 2D on Nintendo 2DS. All screenshots and game footage on this site are captured in 2D mode.
