Following the events of Azure Striker GUNVOLT, a formidable new enemy has risen and the fate of the world lies in the hands of Gunvolt, an incredibly powerful super-soldier with the ability to manipulate electricity. Storm the battlefield and utilise a range of hi-tech weaponry to tag multiple foes for elimination, then strike your targets with devastating forks of concentrated electricity by using Gunvolt’s lethal Flashfield attack!
This technique can be used to levitate or shield Gunvolt from enemy attacks, but use it wisely – the Flashfield ability only has a limited duration! If you fall in battle, the virtual pop star Lumen can use her song to help you get back on your feet. Defeat enemies without taking damage and you’ll earn Kudos towards your high score – rack up enough and Lumen may even sing while you play, boosting Gunvolt’s abilities.
Master the supernatural septimal powers at your disposal to wipe out entire legions of enemies with spectacular attacks and put your techniques to the test against a cast of outlandish, larger-than-life bosses.
Copen joins the fray
For the first time in the series, play as Copen – a highly-skilled fighter, brilliant scientist and Gunvolt’s longstanding rival. Use Copen’s high-flying abilities to perform mid-air attacks and make short work of your targets – dash through the air, slam into enemies to lock onto them, then unleash a devastating flurry of homing shots. As Copen, you can even copy the abilities of the bosses he defeats, giving you more tactics and attacks to experiment with!

As the destruction ramps up, combine all of your skills with razor-sharp reflexes to truly dominate the battlefield and unlock an arsenal of increasingly-powerful weaponry and special abilities.
